Our First Movement
We respect the rich heritage of watchmaking and are always looking to contribute further. In 2020, we developed and realised our first in-house watch movement, the FM01. At 28mm it is perfectly balanced in size to suit high-end men's and ladies watches, and can be tailored to a variety of different decorations.
The FM01 is a special watch movement because it stays true to our values. Its bridge and mainplate components are crafted from a new, recyclable zinc alloy, made from recovered materials. This industry first shows we're pioneering a move to more sustainable alternatives in manufacturing. We like to think this special material gives our FM01 movement a unique appearance and beauty as well!

It's very rare for a watch company to also manufacture its own watch movement. We have been able to achieve this in only five years, producing the majority of the FM01's components here in our Geneva workshop. This gives us complete control of the superlative quality standards we insist on.

Finishes
A number of finishes are available such as:
1. Rhodium plated bridges with 3N gold engravings and gold wheels (3N or 4N).
2. Yellow gold bridges (2N or 3N) with silver engravings and silver wheels.

3. Rose gold bridges (4N) with silver engravings and silver wheels.
​
4. Black bridges with gold or silver engravings and gold or silver wheels.
Decorations
The FM01 can be decorated in a variety of ways. For example: with classic Geneve stripes or a perlage pattern.
It is also possible to sandblast the surfaces to give a matte texture, suitable for modern watch designs.

The choice of finish and decoration can affect the cost and time of production. However, all decorations will treated with the same attention by our talented staff, and executed to the highest level at the Fleury Manufacture workshop.
